I have been Rescuing Horses on my own for the past 4 yrs . My Husband and myself have been funding everything on our own. All at our expense . My wonderful Husband at one point was working three jobs so I could rescue & rehabilitate unwanted, abused , Slaughter Bound Horses . He has been the reason I was able to follow my passion for horses . As it is these days we are finding it very hard to continue in our Rescue Mission efforts without help from outside sources , I love horses and realize the distress the American Horse has to endure ! And have a very hard time knowing where their next stop might be ? Horses are not meant to be Slaughtered ! So we decided to ask for help in taking our Rescue to another level . Certified Status and reaching out for help by asking Everyone to please help us continue to help the Horses . By Donating to our cause . The Rescue Rehabilitation and Responsible placement of the rescued horses.
Getting the horses is not the end of the road but a beginning . Once the horses reach the farm it is automatically an expense. The horses need Vet care that is expensive and is required in being responsible in the care of your rescued horse , the horses require farrier treatment every 6 to 8 weeks and once again it all takes money . All horses must be quarantined for 30 days so you see this is very expensive just for general maintenance . I am willing to offer my services of daily care for free and open my Barn Doors to homeless horses, But I am not a rich person just a poor woman with a passion for horses !
I can only do this if I can receive funds or find some kind of funding to help the horses . Just the general maintenance the feed , Farrier and Vet bills . That is all I ask I know I am not a Certified Rescue but I am working on it . But in the meantime horses are being sent to Slaughter ? And I can help but we do not have that kind of money . I am a very responsible owner and cannot exceed my own financial limits . And this is what brings me to FB Hoping to save more horses with the help of others . Networking for help in Saving Slaughter Bound Horses . I have been working with a few Certified Non - Profits Horse Rescues helping me in coordinating my 501, Non-profit Status , Along with their help we are working on becoming a Recognized Registered Non-Profit . It is not a quick process so that can take some time for everything to be totally completed . Colleen has been rescuing horses for many years and has saved many horses from Slaughter . She and a few other wonderful Recognized Rescues are willing to walk me through this process. Giving to me all their knowledge of being a successful Non-Profit Horse Rescue. Please Help Me Help The Horses. !!!!!

My farm consists of 221 acres of Horse Heaven with Rolling Hills and The Beautiful Paulikskill River running through it for a 1/2 mile . So Please Donate today to save a life for tomorrow Help us pay the Medical Expenses , Farrier Care Feed Hay , Transport , QT . Come on people I need your help ! I am donating all my services and my farm wont you Please help me take care of them ? Until a forever home can be found . Your help can make a difference in the life & death for a horse in need . There are many innocent horses that will be slaughtered needlessly . I hate to put a dollar value on life but that is what it comes down too . I have the means and not the financing that kills me . I know I cant save the World but just a small part of it would be nice . I have been working with horses for 37 years and I still keep learning . One thing I have learned is Horses are one of Gods amazing Animals and do not deserve to be slaughtered like garbage !
Not leaving any Horses behind that is a hard promise to keep without help . I have offered my assistance and my farm to better further the efforts of a staging farm along with rehab until the horses can be safely placed in loving forever homes .
We are working on our sponsorship program packet . Sponsorship will be another way to help the horses !!
If you and a few friends Donated a few dollars a month you can be a part of feeding and caring for a homeless horse . Farrier care along with Vet care allows a horse a new life . Giving them the care they had always deserved !
It is difficult for me to know I can help many, But the big But , I do not have the financial ability to do this alone. I cannot express my sincerity enough in this Not to Slaughter Efforts.

This Poor Baby 15 yrs old Major wound to the eye It required immeditate Medical Attention ASAP ,
The Vet came out to look at her . Said we need a few days for the swelling to go down . We will know more. Right now she is recieving the Medical Care that is needed to assure her no more disscomfort

This poor young boy lost his Dad suddenly , And his friends thought it would be nice for him to have a Horse friend of his own , Horses are wonderful healers their is no replacement for the loss of his Dad of course . But it will help him heal having a new friend to get aquainted with . Best Friends Forever !!

Droopy forsure is a success story , When arrived to the quarentine facility It was not long before he became very ill , Droopy was fading fast amaciated full of worms and his amunine system all out of sorts needed the Vet ASAP , I called the Vet immeditalty and she arrived in no time . With his temperature spiking and labored breathing it did not look good ! The Dr gave him meds and put him on a 2x daily medication regement along with taking his temerature 5 times a day making sure he was not in destress so Pennecillan , Temperature checks , sticking him poking him was the daily routine . The Droop had surprised everyone but me I knew he was a Diamond in the Rough . He is great riding horse trail rides can give lessons will go first . But you must meet Droopy to really apericate how happy he really is ?
We were soon smittin with Droopy and he has a forever home at the Ranch . Droopy thinks he died and went to heaven .
We believe Droopy was ment to find us . If he had not who knows what could have been ?
